PhD, ACC, Courageous Leadership Consulting and Courageous Parents
Dr. Chrissy Chard (she/they) is a Denver-based coach, educator, and leadership consultant grounded in the values of love, humility and courage. Through both Courageous Leadership Consulting and Courageous Parents, Chrissy supports leaders and parents to strengthen self-leadership, deepen relational capacity, and stay anchored in what matters most when life and work become increasingly complex.
Chrissy serves as the Director of RIHEL’s Advanced Leadership Training Program (ALTP), partnering with public health and environmental health leaders across the region to build values-aligned leadership skills that translate into real-world practice. She also consults with organizations seeking to lead with greater integrity, accountability, and belonging, bringing an anti-oppressive lens to culture, communication, and leadership development.
Chrissy is an ICF-certified coach and support the RIHEL Coaching Academy as a guest faculty. Her coaching approach is research-informed and rooted in trauma-informed space holding. She has specialized training in Decolonized Coaching through the Wholehearted Coaching Certification, as well as Transformational Parent Coaching through the Jai Institute for Parenting. Outside of work, Chrissy enjoys lifting heavy weights, getting outside for a walk, and spending time with her partner and three kiddos.
