Brain-Based Leadership Coach
Lisa Marini is a brain-based leadership trainer and speaker who helps leaders understand how the brain drives behavior, decision-making, and performance, especially in high-pressure environments. Her work is grounded in neuroscience and focused on practical application, giving leaders tools they can use when it matters most.
Before founding her private practice in 2017, Lisa spent seventeen years in the construction industry as a lead supervisor for a general contractor, leading large, multifamily projects. That experience gives her a deep understanding of the realities leaders face when stress is high, timelines are tight, and people dynamics are complex.
Lisa’s approach helps leaders recognize how the brain interprets stress, safety, and environment, and how factors like pressure, sleep, and workload impact leadership behavior. By working with the brain rather than against it, leaders build greater clarity, consistency, and effectiveness. Lisa is bilingual and delivers training and speaking engagements in both English and Spanish.
Lisa graduated from Colorado State University in 2000 and holds certifications in multiple neuroscience- and behavior-based modalities, including Brain Health Coaching, Insights Discovery, Hypnotherapy, Brainspotting, Neurosculpting®, Neurolinguistic Programming, HeartMath+, and Integrative Health Coaching. She is also the author of The Couple’s Playbook: Relationships Are a Team Sport, Set Yours Up to Win.
