Sarah Roberts retired in 2015 from the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing where she held several leadership roles, culminating with the Office of Community Living Deputy Director position in 2015. Sarah is most proud of her person-centered approach and work with stakeholders on the Prescription Drug List, Accountable Care Collaborative, and governor- appointed Community Living Advisory Group.
Sarah is a 2014 graduate of the Advanced Leadership Training Program and volunteer coach and coach team lead for the ALTP and PCMAC programs. Her positive experience in the ALTP fueled her desire to coach and train others. She founded Clarity Matters Consulting LLC in 2016 combining her 15- plus years of state government leadership and management experience with her coaching, training, and facilitating skills to bring clarity to individuals and teams.
Sarah is a credentialed Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and serves on the ICF Colorado Chapter Board. She is a certified Executive Coach and professional trainer with the Center for Coaching Certification (CCC), and an active member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and Self-Leadership Global (SLG).
Sarah was raised in Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University in 1984. She moved to Colorado in 1990. Sarah is happily married to a Colorado native and is the mother of two young adults, one old dog, and a whole school of fish. She later returned to school to earn her Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix while raising her two busy children and working full-time at HCPF.
