Job Description:

RIHEL seeks to fill the upcoming ALTP Program Director position for an initial 15-month period (Summer 2022 – Fall 2023) with the intention to renew annually at 12-month increments through a contractual agreement for the scope of work outlined. Annually, the ALTP Program Director leads a group of three to five core faculty, together with staff and guest faculty, to create and deliver RIHEL’s flagship program to 45-50 participants. The Program Director’s goal, working with the Program Manager, is to ensure the excellence and effectiveness of the ALTP curriculum and its delivery. The workload varies throughout the year, with predictable periods of high or low demand. ALTP combines online and in-person sessions, when conditions permit, typically held in Northern or Southern Colorado or Northern New Mexico. Work is performed remotely, though in-person attendance is required for in-person ALTP sessions. Contracted date range is approximately August 2022 – October 2023 with opportunity to renew annually.
