Cara R. Lynch, Esq, M.Ed, is co-founder of Legislative Momentum, an organization that gives junior women legislators power and voice through employing collaborative leadership and teamwork models. She is also a practicing environmental lawyer for the Coalition for Clean and Affordable Energy in New Mexico. She grew-up in a small town along the Rio Grande and has spent much of her professional life giving back to New Mexico’s communities as an educator and non-profit program director. She has gained 18 years of combined experience in education, non-profit program development, organizing and youth civics, and natural resources law and policy. Currently, she also serves as the water law and policy fellow at National Wildlife Federation. Her passion for good governance and leadership stems from experiences studying and working abroad in places such as South Africa and Honduras.
