Nomination Guidelines
ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD NOMINATION
- Any alumnus of RIHEL Training Programs are eligible to receive an Excellence in Leadership Alumni Award.
- The Excellence in Leadership Alumni Awards may be given in two categories each year for outstanding and meritorious service in the field of Public Health or the Environment to:
- An alumnus serving in an environmental-related field
- An alumnus serving in a public health-related field
- The work of the individuals chosen must have made an outstanding contribution to the well-being of people and/or the environment.
- Candidates must show mature and effective professional skills, leadership ability, and vision.
- Candidates should not be currently serving on the RIHEL Alumni Awards Committee
- A nomination must come from either a current program fellow, or other RIHEL alumni. No self nominations will be accepted.
GUIDELINES FOR AWARD NOMINATION
Any current fellow or alumnus may submit nominations for the award.
- Nominations will be accepted on a rolling basis. An existing Alumni Awards Committee will select the awardees and awards to be granted.
