Nomination Guidelines

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD NOMINATION

• Any alumnus of RIHEL Training Programs are eligible to receive an Excellence in Leadership Alumni Award.
• The Excellence in Leadership Alumni Awards may be given in two categories each year for outstanding and meritorious service in the field of Public Health or the Environment to:
  • An alumnus serving in an environmental-related field
  • An alumnus serving in a public health-related field
• The work of the individuals chosen must have made an outstanding contribution to the well-being of people and/or the environment.
• Candidates must show mature and effective professional skills, leadership ability, and vision.
• Candidates should not be currently serving on the RIHEL Alumni Awards Committee
• A nomination must come from either a current program fellow, or other RIHEL alumni. No self nominations will be accepted.

GUIDELINES FOR AWARD NOMINATION

Any current fellow or alumnus may submit nominations for the award.

1. Nominations will be accepted on a rolling basis. An existing Alumni Awards Committee will select the awardees and awards to be granted.

        • Personal courage or commitment to the betterment of health and the environment
